19-04-2016: Esuubi turns ten

2016 is Esuubi’s tenth birthday - a chance to reflect on what we have achieved so far and look forwards to what we hope to accomplish in the next decade.

It’s also a chance for us to say thank you to everyone that’s helped us achieve it (that’s you!)

Over the last ten years we’ve seen dreams becoming a reality as Ekiwumulo village and school opened - providing food, accommodation, healthcare, education and most importantly a family for Mityana’s neediest children.

More recently we’ve opened Esuubi Café - with the aim of harnessing some of Uganda’s tourist trade to provide a sustainable income for Ekiwumulo. With your help we’ve also been able to create projects to encourage sustainability at Ekiwumulo.

Throughout 2016 we will be running a number of events to celebrate everything you’ve helped us achieve and we’d love you to be part of the celebration - either by attending events or by organising your own fundraisers. Accross the website we've given a few ideas of how you can get involved, but don’t let these limit you - if you’d like to get involved in any way (however large or small) we’d love to hear from you.

All the proceeds from this year’s activities will go towards projects that help to secure the future sustainability of Ekiwumulo.

Birthday Party

In late summer we will be holding a party to celebrate our tenth birthday. More details will follow, but if you'd like to know more, please email Kate: kate@esuubi.org.uk
